In October 2013 Wenger released a Limited Edition set called “UNITED WOODS“. It’s limited to 2013 sets worldwide and contains six knives.
Five of the knives have scales made of different types of wood. Each wood represents one of the five major continents of the world. The sixth knife has red evo scales and represents Wengers’s home, the Swiss canton Jura.
The set comes in a nice wooden box. An included book contains info about Wenger, the knives and the wood used for the scales.

Wow, those are stunning!
If your house was on fire and you could only save one of these knives, which would it be?
I would probably burn with my house because I could not decide 😉
I’d love to see the thuya wood on the 55. 😀 Wish they’d offer those materials with other SAKs as well. But then this box wouldn’t be as special.
Yes, thuya wood is also one of my favorits! A user with thuya would be cool 😉
Now I’ve 5 beautiful knives, but I’ll never use one of them… 🙁
Collectors are weird people 🙂
I’m not a Wenger-collector, but this looks stunning! I would love to see a set like this from Victorinox… Nice collection!!!
Your photos have inspired me to go ahead and purchase one of these sets. I’m from Australia so it will be interesting to see the Jarrah one.
I bought 2 boxes …and I have lot of wanger knives because no more wanger production…. I would leave the house and buy another box
