Victorinox hat im 2018 die 4. Ausgabe des Alox Limited Edition Set heraus gegeben. Das Alox Set besteht wieder aus Classic, Cadet und Pionier. Die Messer sind alle in Beerenrot gehalten und tragen auf der Rückseite auf dem Gravurfeld die Jahreszahl 2018 in weiss aufgedruckt. Die Ausgabe ist wiederum auf ein Jahr, jedoch nicht auf eine bestimmte Anzahl begrenzt.

Das Beerenrot ist etwas heller als die normale rote Aloxfarbe anderer Messer.

Beim Cadet wurde eine neue Nagelfeile verwendet. Diese besteht nun aus gefrästen Querrillen und nicht mehr wie bis anhin aus “Diamantenstaub”.

Victorinox has released the 4th issue of the Alox Limited Edition Set in 2018. The Alox set consists again of Classic, Cadet and Pioneer. The knives are all held in berry red and bear the year 2018 in white on the back of the engraving field. The output is again limited to one year, but not to a certain number.

The berry red is slightly lighter than the normal red alox color of other knives.

The Cadet has a new nail file. It now consists of milled grooves instead of the previously used “diamond dust”.

2016 hat Victorinox das zweite Alox Limited Edition Set heraus gegeben. Das Alox Set besteht wieder aus Classic, Cadet und Pionier. Die Messer sind alle in Orchideen-violett gehalten und tragen auf der Rückseite auf dem Gravurfeld die Jahreszahl 2016 in weiss aufgedruckt. Die Messer sind weder graviert noch nummeriert.

Auf dem letzten Bild ist ein Farbvergleich zu sehen zwischen verschiedenen violetten Alox Messern der vergangenen Jahre und dem neuen Alox Set. Das Violett ist praktisch identisch mit dem des Special run Pioneers von 2011 sowie des bi-color Farmers HF von 2015.

Ein deutscher Messer Verkäufer hat auf der Rückseite des Pioneers Herzchen lasern lassen und so eine noch speziellere Version kreiert.

Das Set ist limitiert. Das heisst es ist nicht in der Anzahl produzierter Messer limitiert, sondern es ist limitiert in der Produktionsdauer. Es wird nur während einem Jahr produziert.

Jedes Jahr wird ein neues Alox Set jeweils in einer anderen Farbe und mit der entsprechenden Jahreszahl erscheinen.

In 2016 Victorinox released the second Alox Limited Edition Set. The set includes again a Classic, Cadet and Pioneer. This time the color is orchid violet. The year 2016 is stamped on the backside scale in white color.

The last picture shows a color comparison of different violet knives from the past few years. The violet shade is the same as it was used for the Special run Pioneer from 2011 and the bi-color Farmer HF from 2015.

A German knife shop has etched hearts on the backside of the Pioneer and created a funny special version of the LE 2016.

This set is not limited by quantity but by time of production. It will be produced only during a year.

Each year Victorinox will release an Alox Set in a different color and with the year stamp.
