The basic model for this modification is a Farmer. Two layers with scissors, pruning blade and small blade were added. This makes it a big and very usefull friend.
Farmer in brown Alox without ring. This is a special run of 50 pieces, made by Victorinox in April 2013. The brown shade is a bit different from the shade used for the Pioneer from 2010, which is not numbered.
This nice olive-green Farmer is a special run of 50 pieces made by Victorinox in February 2013. It’s numbered on the main blade.
The color is a bit brighter than the olive-green from the earlier made olive Pioneer and First Mate with black tools.
Once again I made a Farmer with scissors. This time I added a fire striker to the back. I used to different scales. The frontside scale is an old red with the silver cross, while the backside scale is a new silver one with Victorinox shield. The steel striker covers the back spring and the gap which is caused by using a 91mm backspring for the scissors.
The steel striker is made by Mr. Fishlin. He also made the steel strikers for the 93mm Alox soldiers which were produced by Victorinox in 1996 – 2002.
