Es hat schöne Zwetschgenbaumholz-Schalen.
Die Klinge besteht aus 333 Lagen Ladder Damaststahl.
Die Auflage beträgt 6000 Stück.

Der Antonov Club hat zwei schöne Messer von Victorinox als Clubmesser bestellt.
Ein rotes Pioneer mit Klingenätzung sowie ein Spartan mit roter Vorderseite und weisser Rückseite mit farbigem Aufdruck.

2017 hat Victorinox wieder Messer mit geschwärzten Klingen und Werkzeugen hergestellt. Bei einem Spartan wurde das Polispectral Verfahren eingesetzt um alle Metallteile zu “schwärzen”. Wobei die Farbe nicht schwarz, sondern eher dunkelgrau ist. Dieses Verfahren wurde bereits früher bei anderen Modellen verwendet. Zum Beispiel 2013 bei der Black Ice Collection.
Das Spartan von 2017 ist mit weissen oder schwarzen Schalen erhältlich. Beide sehen sehr cool aus.
In 2017 Victorinox again made knives with blackened blades and tools. The Polispectral process was applied to a Spartan to “darken” all metal parts. The color is not black but rather dark gray. This method was used earlier in other models. For example 2013 at the Black Ice Collection.
The Spartan of 2017 is available with white or black scales. Both look very cool.
In November 2014 Victorinox launched a new collector’s knife. It’s this year’s Damascus edition and it’s a Spartan.
The main blade is made of Damascus steel (Damasteel). The handle is made of yew. The wood’s grain gives each knife a unique look.
This edition is limited to 5000 pieces. Each knife is serial numbered on the liner behind the corkskrew.
