The Victorinox Midshipman is a discontinued model with marlinspike. In July 2013 Victorinox produced two special runs in black of this rare model. Each of these two runs consists of 50 pieces. All knives have a number and the year engraved on the backside of the main blade.
The difference between the two runs is the shield’s color. While one knife is completely black with silver emblem, the other knife has a red shield.

Only 50 pieces were produced in 2013. So if you are lucky you may find them on ebay for a few hundred dollars…
